Things are happening fast and furious in the Lakes Region. Our communities continue to grow and foster new investments, along with many new business start-ups and expansions taking place.
Here is a brief list of some of the current projects taking place in and around the Lakes Region.

Laconia/Gilford Airport - The airport just completed a multi-million dollar project to increase capacity and safety for its runways. The Riverwalk will continue through the remainder of the downtown and allow access via cartop kayaks/canoes at Rotary Park. In total the Riverwalk will be 3 miles of paved walkway, with benches and historical sites noted along the walk.
WOW Recreation Trail - This trail is amulti-use recreational path which begins at the Belmont town line ( connecting from the Belmont trail) and continuing through Laconia to the Meredith town line. The path will follow along the railroad tracks and allow for many water vistas and access to many public areas along the path.
